Portraiture Masterclass at the National Portrait Gallery

I have given many workshops around the world but following the shortlisting of two Black Civil war descendants for the Taylor Wessing awards at the National portrait gallery I was invited to host a portraiture masterclass at the National portrait gallery and I have to say it was a real honour. The perfect ‘closing out’ of my moment at the National portrait gallery.

I was fortunate enough to be able to share a little of my experience of the craft of portraiture, how to get the best out of your camera and how to see light and make the most of it in a creative manner, with an engaged and receptive group of delegates of all abilities and differing backgrounds
